Only 72 members used the platform to trade actively. Having been detained since his arrest on October 25, 2022, is the 23-year-old. The BKA stated that “months of undercover and technically challenging investigations” led to the defendant’s arrest.

Proven Guilty

The defense contends that from November 2018 to March 2022, the defendant operated DiDW 3 under the alias “Sudo.” There were roughly 16,000 users on the website. Only 72 members used the platform to trade actively. Having been detained since his arrest on October 25, 2022, is the 23-year-old. The BKA stated that “months of undercover and technically challenging investigations” led to the defendant’s arrest.

The detectives discovered that the defendant was participating in an online drug trafficking enterprise in addition to running DiDW 3. The accused allegedly consented to setting up a dark web drug store for a couple found guilty of drug trafficking. The defendant would get remuneration for developing the shop and a 4% royalty on all sales made through the business as compensation for creating it.

The defendant established and ran a narcotics business on the clearnet while constructing the darknet site, which his associates used to distribute the drugs. Investigators think the group distributed more than 17,000 ecstasy pills, 3.4 kilograms of ketamine, 1.6 kilograms of MDMA, and more than 7,000 LSD blots through the clearnet business. The arrest of one of the defendant’s associates put a halt to the establishment of the darknet vendor shop.

For drug trafficking convictions, the defendant faces a mandatory minimum of five years in jail. He faces a prison sentence of one to ten years for running an illegal online trading enterprise. In 2018, the original DiDW’s administrator was given a six-year prison term. From 2013 until 2017, when the BKA shut it down, he ran the forum. He was accused of organizing the 2016 gun rampage in Munich that claimed 10 lives. The gun used in the shooting was purportedly purchased by the shooter from a forum merchant.
