For a thorough investigation in Alberta revealed a drug stockpile, four persons were detained and a fifth was sought for. Three citywide searches were conducted as part of the Grande Prairie RCMP and ALERT’s combined investigation in the fall of 2022. The police also found illicit cigarettes while conducting these searches, along with suspected amounts of cocaine, fentanyl, and meth.
One Investigation, Several Suspects: Drug Trafficking is Revealed
Hananluiza Alshawabkeh, 25, is accused of trafficking of illegal narcotics, possessing a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and having stolen goods totaling more than $5,000. They have been released from custody, and a court date has been scheduled on July 26. Faisal Huoseh, who is accused of trafficking contraband substances, has been released on bail pending his next court date on July 24. 30-year-old Kaitlin Mulek, is charged with a plethora of offenses including possession with intent to distribute and trafficking in prohibited narcotics. She’s supposed to show up in court on August 2nd. John Medina, 26, is due in court on July 24th to answer to three counts of possessing a controlled substance with the goal of to trade. Elwood Fraser, 53, is the fifth person wanted in connection with the drug trafficking investigation and is wanted on three charges of possessing prohibited narcotics.
The RCMP emphasized that they discovered the individuals in issue were making use of short-term rentals as a result of their investigation. If any strange goods are discovered, renters are instructed to call the police. When cleaning up locations where drug residue may have been present or is believed to have been there, the RCMP also suggests using personal protective equipment.
