Covert Drug Lab Unearthed: A 51-Year-Old in Custody
During their inquiry, the authorities found a trap-door concealed in the living room that eventually led to the drug lab secretly hidden away in the garage of the residence. The materials and ingredients show that the lab produced meth and psilocybin, a chemical found in magic mushrooms.
The guy, 51, was taken into custody at the site immediately away on suspicion of possessing dangerous goods, as well as drug paraphernalia, and he is now being detained. On August 2, he will appear in front of Holland Park Magistrates Court.
The suspect, as well as innocent bystanders and helpless members of the community, were seriously at risk for major health problems as a result of the risky circumstances in which these narcotics were being produced.
Phelps said, “This capture is a further instance of the devoted effort undertaken to take these deadly and highly addictive substances off our streets, and keep the community safe.”
