The Cobourg Police Service reports that on Wednesday, authorities stopped a vehicle in the vicinity of Theatre Road and Highway 2 in Cobourg as part of an investigation that had been started earlier in the spring.
What Was Discovered by Police
Fentanyl, hydromorphone tablets, heroin, cocaine, and Canadian money were found by the police. There were two persons detained.
After executing a search warrant, officers discovered crystal methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, psilocybin, and LSD pills inside a home on Division Street in Cobourg.
The substances confiscated had projected a street value of $76,500 and include around 123 grams of fentanyl, 104 grams of crystal meth, 16.5 grams of heroin, 145 grams of cocaine, and 12 grams of psilocybin.
Six narcotics trafficking allegations, three drug possession charges, and one charge of possession of profits of crime under $5,000 were brought against a 35-year-old woman and a 34-year-old male.
