Kiyanna Ambers, 42, was handed a three-year probationary term and an 18-month prison sentence on August 22nd, 2023. Richard G. Stearns, a judge for the US District Court, oversaw the sentencing. Ambers successfully completed the court-sponsored RISE program as part of her partnership.

After a multi-week study into Ambers and her coworkers, a search warrant was executed at their residence in June 2020. Police officials carried out a search and discovered many baggies of white powder, which included a combined amount of over 340 grams of cocaine and cocaine base. Also taken from Ambers’ home was a total of $11,462 in cash.
